Duratec Engine to Ford Gearbox Hydraulic Clutch Bellhousing

This bellhousing allows the 1.8l, 2.0l or 2.3l Duratec engine to be connected to the Ford Type E (Rocket 4 sp) and Type 9 (Sierra 5 sp) gearboxes using a hydraulic clutch.

Ford Duratec lightweight Steel Flywheel - 8 1/2" Clutch Plate

2.0 or 2.3* Ford Duratec lightweight steel flywheel to suit Ford 8 1/2" clutch plate. With integral starter ring (ring gear is machined into the flywheel).

Slave Cylinder for Duratec Engine to Ford Gearbox Hydraulic Clutch

This slave cylinder fits directly inside our Duratec Engine to Ford Gearbox Hydraulic Clutch Bellhousing. For use with a 0.625 inch (5/8") master cylinder.

Plumbing Kit for Type 9 or T5 Hydraulic Release Bearing

Connects our Ford Type 9 Hydraulic Release Bearing Kit or Slave Cylinder for Duratec Engine to Ford Gearbox Hydraulic Clutch to your car's pedal box. Comes with fittings and enough pipe to allow the bleed nipple to be situated remotely.

Spigot bearing

Converts crankshaft to accommodate a RWD gearbox. Needed in order to support the longer length of the Type 9 or Borg Warner T5* input shaft. Fits in standard recess in crankshaft.

Bolt length under the head is 25mm.

A complete bellhousing, clutch and release kit to connect the Ford Duratec 1.8 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5 to any Ford Type 9 pattern gearbox. This kit uses hydraulic actuation.

The quick release option allows quicker gearbox removal and fitting by moving the 4 internal gearbox to bellhousing bolts to the outside of the gearbox. This allows the gearbox to be removed whilst leaving the bellhousing in place.

The lightweight steel flywheel replaces the standard dual mass flywheel, which is heavy, bulky and can fail in competition or fast road comditions. Uses an integral starter ring

The high quality heavy duty clutch kit kit includes an uprated clutch cover, retaining bolts and friction disc.

The hydraulic clutch kit utliises a boss that replaces the gearbox nose. Some of the gearboxes listed below will come with their own concentric cylinders.

The spigot bearing converts the crankshaft to accommodate the Ford Type 9 Gearbox in a RWD installation. Needed in order to support the longer length of the Ford Type 9 gearbox input shaft. Fits in the standard recess in crankshaft.
