A complete bellhousing, clutch and release kit to connect the Ford Duratec 1.8 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5 to any Ford Type 9 pattern gearbox. This kit uses cable actuation for cars with cable pedal boxes.
The quick release option allows quicker gearbox removal and fitting by moving the 4 internal gearbox to bellhousing bolts to the outside of the gearbox. This allows the gearbox to be removed whilst leaving the bellhousing in place.
The lightweight steel flywheel replaces the standard dual mass flywheel, which is heavy, bulky and can fail in competition or fast road comditions. Uses an integral starter ring
The high quality heavy duty clutch kit kit includes an uprated clutch cover, retaining bolts and friction disc.
The spigot bearing converts the crankshaft to accommodate the Ford Type 9 Gearbox in a RWD installation. Needed in order to support the longer length of the Ford Type 9 gearbox input shaft. Fits in the standard recess in crankshaft.
